Mission
The world has become flooded with know-it-alls in just a few years. They tell you how to think, what to eat, where to travel, what shoes to buy, how and with what to clean yourself, who to live your life with, and so on. It’s hard to find a topic where someone doesn’t want to interfere.
My mission is to primarily be the one who asks questions. I want my readers to think and form their own opinions. Of course, questions themselves can also be tools of manipulation. In fact, it’s unavoidable that questions influence people. I imagine questions lying on a spectrum. This spectrum represents their manipulative potential, depending on how strong the intent to influence is within them.
Questions are good.
Alright, you’re right. Nothing is inherently good or bad. It always depends on how it’s used. Let me put it more clearly: questions are excellent tools. When my kids were little, I tried to handle their learning on my own. I met a math teacher who teaches the subject in a truly revolutionary way. The method is called “discovery-based mathematics.” The teacher gives the kids word problems and uses only the right questions to guide them toward the solution. The student figures it out on their own—discovers the solution. Everyone can agree this leads to a much deeper understanding than when a teacher explains everything at the board.
I’ve wandered off a bit, but that happens to me often—you’ll see.
So, there will be all kinds of topics here. I’ll try to avoid current politics and focus more on strategic questions. There won’t be anything here that someone else hasn’t already said or asked.
Something like that.
Oh, right. I’ll try not to make the mistake of posting when I don’t really have anything meaningful to say. That would be terrible. The quantity and quality of posts will probably fluctuate. I’ll write silly things at times, but I’ll correct myself when I come to a better understanding.
